Welcome to the CLASS!


Individuals and families of all ages, and from all backgrounds.
A study of the basic teachings of the Christian faith in a friendly and open environment.  ADULTS & TEENS, click HERE to review the study curriculum.  CHILDREN, click HERE.  Child care is provided for babies and toddlers.

To provide an opportunity to study the basic teachings of the Christian faith from an historic
evangelical perspective without respect to church affiliation (we are not connected to any particular church or denomination).
Anyone can become a part of the CLASS, and help support its mission by attending. Attendance can be regular or occasional.  We meet from 6-7:00p on Wednesday's, so most people come  after work or school.  Everyone is welcome.  There are also several  volunteer ways to Support the CLASS.
Each Wednesday evening of the month (except the last Wednesday in each month) from 6:00p to 7:00p.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT....
Beginning June 10, "The CLASS" will be known as "The Master's CLASS."  Same time, same place, same mission, but new name.

Beginning June 10, the Master's CLASS will be expanded to Sunday evenings at 6:00p, and will be known as "The Master's Chapel."   Starting  June 10, and for the summer, the Chapel will meet Sunday evenings at 6:00p at the Jamison Inn Evansville located at the corner of Green River Road & Vogel (behind Bob Evans).  EVERYONE IS WELCOME!

The Master's Chapel will eventually meet at the Boonville Public Library (beginning  September 9 at 6:00p).

NEW 2012 CLASS MISSIONS

2012 MISSIONS PROJECTS:

ONE AT HOME
ONE OVERSEAS

HOME - Playground equipment for children at  Bright Beginnings Christian Child Care in Evansville.  One set for ages 1-2, and one set for ages 3-6.  Equipment choices, cost, and installation projects are expected to be announced by the end of March.

OVERSEAS - School curriculum for 19 children at the Elma Barnett Children's Center in Kenya in the amount of $4,000.  The sponsor amount will be wired to the parent missions agency, African Inland Missions.

1.  20 Master's students are studying in Jerusalem.

2.  Thanks to Chris Naas for being active in the Wabash Valley Kairos ministry.

 

 

Prayer:

 

1.  Krista Hurt’s cancer is shrinking and she’s feeling better.
2.  Little Hayden is off the ventilator, but still in NICU.
3.  Jim Stoneman is back to CLASS after his knee surgery.
4.  Stephanie Beasley, 27 years old battling cancer which has spread to her brain.  She is in Deaconess Gateway.
5.  Randy Rhoads from FCCN died in a diving accident. Prayers still needed for  his wife Donna, their son and other loved ones..
5.  Dawn Craigs sister (Deane Larue) is dying with brain cancer.
6.  Gayle Hughes is going on a trip to Macanaw Island with a good friend.
7.  Barbara Santora’s sister is having family issues.
8.  Nancy Koehler will have surgery at Vanderbilt for the cancer on her spinal cord.
9.  Denise Sandefur’s friend at work has inoperable cancer on the base of the tongue, and will be starting chemo.
10.  Noah James is still waiting on a lung transplant, but has been transferred to Children's Hospital in St. Louis, and he is now more hopeful for a transplant.

11.  Deena Rinehart fell and injured her back.  She has temporary limited mobility, but is now recovering nicely.

12.  Amanda H. , a friend of Diana Chapman has a special need.

13.  Pray for safe travel for the Fletchers as they travel to Nebraska 5/17 - 20.

14.  Becky Schnur (Tony Schnur's wife) has been diagnosed with stage 4 brain cancer.
